Groan. Morning comes too early. Today's the day we go on our last tour. We both had quick showers then left the hotel at 7am.

We hop the tube and got off at Victoria station as usual. I like riding the tubes in the morning. They're quiet and cool.

The bus was late again and while we were waiting I became aware of a family with a several kids including a small boy. I certainly hope he's not coming on the tour with us. Lets just say he needs a swift kick in the ass.

Oh yay! His family is going on a different tour. They were just getting ride to their pickup stop. Halleluyah.

The day continues...

The bus is a big one like the on the first tour but this time it's not full. There's about 26 people as opposed to the 50 that was on the Stonehenge tour. And guess what!!!

Ross is the guide for this tour! He remembered us. Surprising.

We finally got on our way at 9am. Stupid idiot people! Gah. This means we'll be behind at all our stops now.

Anyway, our first stop is Leeds Castle. Another one of the William the Conquer castles. Apparently, after taking over London he started building castles all over so that he'd have places to house his soldiers as he pushed his way out from the central area.

It's a beautiful castle. Again, not the traditional castle look. And it has quite an interesting history.

It's been a Norman stronghold, a royal residence for six of England’s medieval queens, a palace of Henry VIII, and a retreat for the powerful and influential. The last owner was a woman called Lady Bailey who purchased it and then turned it into a private home. She managed to preserve the castely atmosphere even though she raised her family there.

Went to see th dog collar museum. Was very interesting. Wondered if the spiked collars really helped any when the dogs were sent into fights. Viccy wonders if any of the collars would look good on me. I keep reminding her I'm a free wolf.

Our guide around the castle is called Anne. She's very funny and knowledgeable and in really GREAT shape for an elderly lady. Oh, our bus driver's name is Paul.

After Leeds, we went to Dover and saw the white cliffs. The others had lunch at the Lighthouse Inn. I declined because it's not worth £11 pounds. Instead I sat outside and wrote in the journal and looked at France.

Yes, you can see it from there. There's even a ferry you can take from Dover to France. It only costs £5 and takes an hour so people go there buy cheap booze, party and then come back across.

After Dover we went on to Canterbury. We heard the stories about Thomas `A Becket again then we went to Canterbury Cathedral. Again with the walking over dead people.

Also, Viccy is squeeing like mad since Orli is from here. It's good we don't know the exact address. I have no doubt she'd be stalking him if we did. It's quite amusing.

Then after Canterbury, we passed by Greenwich. We did NOT get a chance to stand on the Greenwich line!!! >__<

Because of the idiots that made us set out late in the morning, we were off schedule all day so there wasn't any time to actually stop at Greenwich. Am SO annoyed and disappointed. Feel like throwing the idiots out of the bus. GRRRR.

Now we're crusing down the Thames. The name of the ship is the Millenium Time. They're just served us some champagne.

The boat ride was okay. The captain of the boat played tour guide and talked about the different things we could see on the shore. But I'd have rather skipped the cruise and spent the time in Greenwich. Oh well.

Anyway, we got off at Westminister. Said hihi to Queen Bodicia then caught the tube back to Paddington station. Had dinner at Mimos. Yes again!

When we returned home we packed our suitcases. Wow. Was amazed to see how many books I'd bought.
