Spent two hours this morning trying to whip them into shape for this big performance they have to do October 27th. Should've brought a real whip! Hmph.
Spent most of the two hours listening to them whine. Whining isn't attractive when animals do it and it's certainly not attractive when children do it. Or their parents for that matter.
Hm. I think I've answered my own question. People are raising little carbon copies of themselves. Whiny attitudes and all.
It's annoying. They know the material. But getting them to do it is like pulling teeth. Not fun.
And it does not help that the person in charge of directing them through this thing is young and inexperienced. She keeps giving in to them. I finally had to put my paw down. Otherwise there'd have been nothing left of the program with her telling them if they didn't want to do this or that, they didn't have to.
HAH! Welcome to the REAL world kiddies! *laughs maniacally*
Next year, it's bloody well gonna be different. Even if I have to knock all their heads together. Parents heads too. Hmph.
