Day 235 - A Job Well Done
Aug. 23rd, 2010 04:14 pmToday, I was feeling crappy due to spending most of Sunday evening crying. I developed a headache but unfortunately didn't find my Advil until about 2am and by then it was a full blown episode, so when I got up this morning, I thought, well, it'll be okay. I'm just going to work for a few hours and then I can come home and go back to bed.
Well, that was a stupid plan. It WOULD have worked IF my boss had done her job properly. I spent most of the first four hours helping her fix all the mistakes she made to the data entry I was supposed to be using to file the tax. So yup, nearly eight hours later, I'm just getting home.
To top it all off, as I was leaving, my boss was all, so you'll be in for part of the day tomorrow right??? NO I WILL NOT BE! The deal was I'd get two half days off. Today was in no way a half a day off, so I will be taking all of tomorrow off, thank you very much! Moron.
