Day 216 - Is She Really Ever Here??
Aug. 4th, 2010 06:55 pmMy boss is going away again. After coming back on the 31st, she's leaving tomorrow afternoon. So she was here four days. Long enough to annoy everyone and harass people for money. She did nothing that was work related.. aside from billing, which as she'll be quick to tell you, is her favourite part of the job. Whatever.
In the four days she was here, she tried to tell me what to do. I was like done, done, done, on your desk waiting for you to review, made an appointment and done. I've been working here TEN YEARS!! I do not need to be held by the hand. Sheesh.
Also, when invoices don't break out the tax, there's a formula to figure out what the tax portion is. Way back at the beginning of July when the tax switched over, I worked it out and gave it to my co-worker. Today my boss was all oh, by the way, for your edification, the formula is... I broke in and said, we already know.
She was quite disappointed. But what the heck does she expect! That was information we needed LAST MONTH, not now. If we waited around for her to tell us things, we'd never get anything done.
