Day 25 - My Life is a Roller Coaster

I was tempted to post earlier today - round about 4:30pm because fool that I am, I thought SURELY NOTHING ELSE WILL HAPPEN THAT IS OF NOTE! I was so wrong. Let me tell an amusing tale.

Day 25 - Work Shenanigans!

I like that word. Sheeeeeeeeeeeeenanigans! I also like Shillelagh for the same reason! But enough about funny sounding words!

My boss got back yesterday. Today I got into the office at 10:30 because I was dealing with the government stuff for myself. When I came in she was washing dishes.

So, to sum up. SHE GOT NOTHING OF WHAT I NEEDED HER TO DO COMPLETED. It is very clear that she has a real problem with priorities. Recognizing what NEEDS to be done and doing it.

To compare in the same amount of time, I completed two tax returns, processed and faxed back two payroll requests, emailed back and forth to two clients, helped another client over the phone, and walked to the post office and dropped off the mail.

She will make $37/hr this year. I make $14 plus the 31 cents the health plan works out to an hour. So basically, she's making almost 260% off my work.
