Day 53 - Where's The Wizard of Oz?

wolfsbrideI need him to give my boss a brain. Clearly hers doesn't work any more. Though it's more likely that she's become too bloody lazy to use it.
I was getting ready for work this morning when I got a phone call. I was curling my hair in the bathroom so I didn't bother going to pick it up. It was my boss and she was in a panic.
Boss: I need you to call me right away! Client Name with held needs her Corporate Number RIGHT NOW!!!!
In the bathroom I'm rolling my eyes, however, once I'm done curling my hair, I phone my boss to tell her I'll be over in a couple of minutes. The phone goes to voice mail. Apparently this information that she JUST couldn't wait for can wait long enough for her to get off the stupid phone. Anyway, I get to work and she's running around in a panic.
Boss: OMG WHERE IS HER BINDER?!???!? I called the lawyer to ask what the number is but I had to leave a message on his voice mail!!!
Me: Don't you remember? She took her binder so she could open her corporate business account.
Boss: Oh. Well WHAT ARE WE GOING TO DO!!! SHE'S NEEDS THAT NUMBER!!!!
Me: Why don't you take the dogs for a walk?
Boss: OH! YES! *leaves*
While she's gone, I go look in the client's corporate file. Even though we don't have her binder, when a company is incorporated they have to apply to the government for a business number. I know we have that documentation. I find the paper and sure enough, it has the Corporate Number there. I call the client and leave a message with the information she needs and I send her an email as well. Then I fax the other information to the person she needed it faxed to. All done without running around like an idiot.
The rest of the day was more of the same. It would be really interesting to see the quality of work she puts out when I'm not around to field her mistakes.
