Day 225 - Dinner Again

We're back to the going out to dinner thing again. I paid last time we went out, which was several weeks ago since she's been pretty much on holiday for the last month or so. So officially it's her turn. And yes, you guessed it. She suddenly developed a craving for spaghetti, which, at the restaurant we go to for that, amounts to a twenty dollar meal. To top that off, she was going to use a ten dollar gift card but it was expired. I said fine, since she wanted to discuss 'business'. And then when we got there, I made sure to order enough stuff to make the bill work out to the same as what I had to pay.

She didn't like that at all. She actually said to our waitress that I was being a pig. I just smiled and asked the waitress to make most of the stuff to go. She REALLY didn't like that. Maybe that'll stop her from asking me out to dinner again. I mean we can talk 'business' just as easily at the office as we can anywhere else.

As to the business she wanted to discuss, suddenly now she can't do enough to make the sale platable. She's going to waive the down payment and drop the sale price and maybe we can even do profit sharing and blah blah. |We'll see if that lasts. I think it might. |She's getting rather desperate to retire it seems. Which is just as well since she's totally useless at the job anyway.
