Day 165 - Tetra, Terra - Potato , Potatoe
Jun. 14th, 2010 10:51 pmSo I dipped into my savings and got another external hard drive. Blah. I didn't really want to spend money right now but I'm hopeful that I can replace the fund with my end of month pay cheque.

vulcanatf, just so you know, whacking it did work. The computer is now able to read it, but the fall seems to have jiggled something with the way the USB cord connects. I've only managed to pull the smaller files off. When I try to move the bigger files, it gives an i/o error after a valiant effort. I may have to impose on you to recopy the stuff you gave me the next time I come out. I'm making a list of the stuff I have on there that I downloaded. I guess I'll have to just download them again. Boo.
Lesson learned, I guess. Keep me away from table edges and electronics.
