Day 100 - Another Twelve Hours
Apr. 10th, 2010 11:39 pmYawn.
So today I did the taxes for the family that I house sat for in March. Man, that woman needs a chill pill. I nominate her husband and kids for sainthood for putting up with her. She does nothing but nag nag nag. Her husband did a bunch of chores around the house. Not once did she say oh thanks for doing that or good job honey or whatever. She just complained about how it was done. I felt so bad for the poor guy.
Anyway, it takes twelve hours because nothing is ever ready when I go there. I have to sit and help her sort and find everything first. THEN I put it on a spreadsheet so I can have numbers to put in the tax return. I bumped my price up five dollars over last year and at first I felt a little bad about it but then I saw the bill from the accountant for last year. Twice what I cost and he just used my numbers.
I didn't feel bad any more.
