Day 98 - In The Zone

I did it! I worked ten hours but I managed to post a whole banker's box crammed full of payables. It was actually a bit amusing because it kinda triggered my compulsive organizational whatever since it was just folders in no particular order. For about five minutes, I sat there staring at the contents while my brain ran around in circles going MEEP! Must sort! Must alphabetize! MEEP! But since speed was of the essence, I managed to ignore that and just go to it.

Now that I think about it, I probably spent less than ten hours on it, because I had to stop to do payroll and help my co-worker and proofread and send emails for my boss and ARRRGH! I even snapped at her twice because she kept questioning me about a few pieces of information. A letter and a TD1 Adjustment for one client and an restoration application for an incorporated company for another client BOTH of which just needed the clients' signatures and then they could be mailed. When she came back from meeting the clients, instead of just putting them in the envelopes that I had prepared for her, she kept asking me, did you make copies? Isn't there something else to be done? Shouldn't this part of the form be filled out????

Yes! Copies are in the files! I made one for us, one for the client and the original gets mailed! Don't fill anything else in on that form! The information is all there! Just put a cheque with it and MAIL IT!!!

Honestly, it's like looking after a child. A child that thinks I don't know how to do my job.
