Helsinki - Day 78
Nov. 4th, 2003 05:36 pmWe're off to London again to go to the LotR exhibition at the science museum. Had to wake up early so that I could pack as I was too tired to pack the night before. Had a quick shower and then packed while Viccy was still sleeping.
Also had to cancel my BA flight from Helsinki to London since I'd already be there. Can you believe a round trip ticket is less expensive than one way? Weird.
Viccy's up now. Listening to Dances with Wolves as I get ready. Will be odd to not have the TV in the background when I get home. Got here okay. Was some mixup with the hotel room. Nick thought it was for two days not three. He was cool about it though.
We got room two this time. I think it was the only one he could give us for the extra day. It looks like it's for three people. Hope we didn't gyp him out of customers.
We actually managed to get to the hotel in a reasonable amount of time. Helps that we were traveling together. Our room is MUCH larger than the first one and it has an adaptor! I can use my laptop.
After resting a bit, we went to Mimos for lunch. Yay Mimos! Was as good as we had remembered it.
After Mimos, we went to the bookstores, Foleys, Silver Moon and Borders again.
