Yay Gah and Bleh

Yay! I'm slowly making progress with the client that I thought was with holding information. Turns out my boss hasn't been ASKING them for stuff. *jumps up and down on boss' head*

Gah! I'm dead! Dead, do you hear! Whose stupid idea was working for a living anyway?!

In my next life, I'm going to do nothing but lie on plumped satiny pillows while naked nubile well oiled young men feed me grapes and fan me and perform erotic dances for my viewing pleasure. *sends memo to the Secretary of Reincarnation*

Course with my luck, I'll probably end up as a peeled grape. *grumble*

Bleh! I ordered in and the food was not good. Surprising. This place is usually good. I was disappointed. I called and they're going to give me a credit for next meal but doesn't do anything for the meal I ordered today. Oh well.

Anyway... It's past midnight where I am, so I'd better go to bed before I turn into a pumpkin.

PURRRRRR!

Today was a good day!

My boss was out of the office and the phone hardly rang so I was able to get a lot accomplished. I can see maybe not light at the end of the tunnel for this client I'm working on but definitely a little glimmer to let me know I'm heading in the right direction. I figure by the end of October I should be able to wrap this client up and go on to the next one. Wunderbar!

After work was good too! Went to a sushi restaurant for dinner, then went and cleaned out some cupboards. Yeh, I know. Doesn't sound very exciting but I had two lovely ladies helping me and it was fun to chat and discover all the JUNK and sometimes some useful things hidden away in the cavernous depths.

Threw a LOT of stuff away! It was great :D

Found some magazines from 1963! What a riot! I decided to keep those just for entertainment value. Thirty five cents for a magazine about same size and page length the Reader's Digest is. Hmm... I wonder how much the Reader's Digest cost in 1963 :)

Got home about half an hour ago. So I'm exhausted but it's a good tired.
