Day 141 - Garden Plans

wolfsbrideSo today I got a mini lesson in plants. I learned that an ANNUAL isn't like I thought were it comes back every year; it's the exact OPPOSITE. You have to replace it every year. What I THOUGHT was annual is actually PERENNIAL.
Anyway, the neighbour that kindly hung my tools, had a bunch of ideas she wanted to run by me. She's got extra pots and plants and knick knacks so she wanted to know if I wanted anything for my part of the yard. So I may end up with a couple of boxwoods for the patio and some geraniums for hanging baskets and we're still pondering what to do with the big patch across the way. Since if we dig out the weeds and don't put SOMETHING in, it'll just be all weeds again. We're trying to think of things that would go as ground cover.
I really should start taking pictures.
