Anyway, when this first started happening, I used to charge my boss my time times my rate. So if it took me an hour, I'd charge her fourteen dollars since that's what I get paid an hour. However, after she turned into this giant bitch, I started charging her what she'd have to pay if she took the dog to a salon. And let me tell you, fourteen dollars would maybe get you a nail clipping and an ear cleaning.
So today, after I brushed, combed, clipped and cleaned the dog, I charged her thirty five dollars even though it didn't take me two and a half hours to do it. Dishonest? Yes. But somehow, I feel it only fair.
