Day 46 - HULK SMASH!!!

wolfsbrideHonestly, there are days when I feel like I should nominate myself for SAINTHOOD just for the fact that I don't attack my boss with her butcher knife.
Today, just because she's a greedy bastard, she hounded the new girl to death regarding two clients because their quarter is the end of January so once all the January stuff is posted, they can be billed. NEVER mind the fact that people have JUST gotten their statements in the mail and haven't had a chance to send them to us yet. She's filing one client without their January bank statement at all and the other, she made them fax her the statement.
So then the poor girl had to post the statement WITHOUT the cheques. You can imagine how much fun that was trying to figure out what the cheques paid without the actual cheques. For some reason this bank the client deals with have yet to go to micro fiche, so you don't even get that. She managed to figure out most of them except for three. So then my boss LOOMED over her while she was trying to reconcile the month going, did you check this? Did you look at that? Maybe it's this other thing! And she kept grabbing at stuff, totally putting the girl's work station in disarray.
I just about slammed my workstation closed and went home I was so pissed off. When WE'RE trying to get her to do stuff, it's all la dee dah dee dah but the instant she wants to bill somebody, it's all OMG THIS MUST BE DONE YESTERDAY OMG!!! And we have to drop whatever we're doing and run around trying to put stuff together with the work half done.
The icing on the cake? I got an email from the lady in Day 42 asking me to THANK MY BOSS for the discount she gave her. I felt like emailing back and saying you know that discount you're so happy about? Even with that discount she's still over charging you by three hours.
