Day 14 - My Mom

Okay, sure she's going batty and I normally I'm all about the sympathy but man, this whole running around with undesirables is getting on my nerves.
I made arrangements to meet up with her tomorrow for Lunch as I haven't had a chance to really talk to her since the end of December. I've been phoning her all week to make sure she's written it down and remembers to actually look at the calendar etc. Tonight when I talked to her she was all.. oh by the way, you should call me before you come to pick me up because I might not be home!
LIKE WHAT IS THIS???? Can she not take five minutes away from her beau, who she doesn't seem to particularly like anyway, to see me???? I'm vacillating between annoyed and insulted.
The thing is.. I don't care for this gentlemen she's hanging out with. Again it's the whole, 'you need to stop hanging out with that young man, missy! He's a bad influence!' thing. Being a parent sucks!
