T minus 21 hours and counting
Aug. 1st, 2003 04:23 pmHard to believe this day is really here. Started planning this trip nineteen months ago and whined constantly about how slowly time was passing.
Now the day is almost upon me and I'm all gasp! where did the time go. Stil not panicking yet though. That'll come tomorrow I suppose.
I should go and pack. Or something.
When we first talked about this trip, I was going to mail my clothes because of all the silliness with airport security. Everyone I'd talked to moaned about what a great big hassle it was.
But of course, me being Queen of Procrastination, I never got around to it and now I actually have to stuff three months worth of clothes into a small suitcase and a knapsack since I don't want to have to lug a huge set of luggage around the airport with me.
Anyway... Off I go to do something or the other.
