Day 70 - I Am Good At My Job
Yesterday, I sent one of our freshly incorporated clients a snapshot of her monthly payroll remittance. Since she's never done the official payroll before, I wanted to run it by her before I started filling out cheques. Just as I was leaving for the day, I got this panicked email. OMG!!! I'M SO CONFUSED!!! CALL ME TOMORROW!! MEEP!!!
So, today I phoned her. It took about half an hour but I was able to talk her down from OMG! MEEP! WHAT IS GOING ON! WHY DO I HAVE TO PAY THAT??!?!!? to OHHHH!!! I TOTALLY GET IT! I had to use very small words and pause between sentences while she absorbed the information but it was so cool to hear the light bulb go off above her head.
