Day 152 - Second Last Cub Night!
So we did the usual games and sang the smelly sneakers and Frankenstein song and the boys practised their skits.
Here are two of my favourites:
Infantry
Four boys are miming being in the middle of a battle. After a few seconds they yell for INFANTRY! WE NEED INFANTRY!! WHERE'S INFANTRY!!!
One boy off in the distance yells.. Infantry is 15 miles away!
Upon hearing this, one of the four boys keels over dead.
The other three boys continue the fighting. After a few more seconds again they yell for INFANTRY!!! WE NEED INFANTRY!! WHERE'S INFANTRY!!!
Off in the distance comes the call... Infantry is 10 miles away!
One more boy keels over dead.
The two remaining boys continuing fighting. A few more seconds pass. And then INFANTRY!!! WE NEED INFANTRY!!! WHERE'S INFANTRY!!!
In the distance... Infantry is 5 miles away!!!
Another boy keels over dead. By now the death scenes are incredibly dramatic.
The last boy is fighting valiantly but in a few more seconds he's yelling for INFANTRY!!! I NEED INFANTRY!!! WHERE'S INFANTRY!!!
The boy that was calling back steps out from where he's been standing, holding up a small twig and yells as loud as he can. HERE'S INFANTRY!!!

Looking for Trouble
Three boys are walking in the woods. Their names are Be Quiet, Die and Trouble. As they walk along, they end up losing Trouble. After some discussion they seek out a ranger station to ask for help.
Boy 1: Well, hello boys, what are your names?
Boy 2: Be Quiet, Sir!
Boy 3: Die, Sir!
Boy 1: Now see here! Are you guys trying to be cute?!? I said what are your names?!
Boy 2: Be Quiet, Sir!
Boy 3: Die, Sir!
Boy 1: Now listen here! I don't want any funny business! I asked you your names!
Boy 2: Be Quiet, Sir!
Boy 3: Die, Sir!
Boy 1: Alright that's it! Are you two looking for trouble!?!??
Boy 2 & 3 together: As a matter fact, yes we are!
