Day 151 - Today I...
... battled a wasp. Which mostly consisted of me running away :D However, I did mange to open the screen door while he was flying around in the living room and he was able to get out without too much trouble. I consider it a triumph because I HATE flying insects worse than I hate crawling ones. Usually when something gets in the house, I get either the boss or my co-worker to rescue me :)
... battled my ipod. With the generous help of Nyx, I was able to beat an audio book file into submission. Not sure if I'd want to go through the whole fight again, but at least now I know how to make it work.
... typed up a memo postponing my first official meeting as chairperson til mid June. It's the last two weeks for cubs and since I missed most of April due to tax time, I really wanted to be there for their last days. However, I was a bit hesitant to do so. I thought about asking the old chair to run the June 1st meeting. Then I thought - screw this! I'm the chairperson! It's not like we get a huge turnout anyway. So that's done for good or ill.
